The Experience
To elope on Lake Como and keep it entirely to yourselves, you need a villa with a gate and a dock — and two nights to stay in it. Villa Noseda gives you both. The vintage Riva carries you onto the water for the ceremony; on the villa’s lakeside terrace your celebrant leads the symbolic vows and binds your hands with the Red Ribbon Ritual, florals all around, the lake unbroken below. The bride carries an artisan bouquet and veil, the groom his boutonnière; champagne and a gourmet aperitivo follow, and then — unlike a fleeting ceremony elsewhere — you stay: two nights in the villa’s suite, waking to the Lario outside the window.
