The Experience
There is a Tuscany found beyond the city gates, along the strade bianche that cut through the Chianti hills between cypress trees, stone farmhouses and rows of vines. A private 4×4 carries you from Florence into this quieter landscape, where your symbolic ceremony takes place with the countryside opening around you. The red ribbon ritual, candlelight and a Tuscan wine blessing accompany your vows within the stillness of the countryside. Afterwards, a local producer welcomes you into the cantina, among stone walls, oak barrels and the scent of Chianti Classico ageing in wood. Lunch is served among the vineyards, with seasonal Tuscan dishes and estate wine. Later, Florence receives you again: a carriage through the centro storico, then sunset from Piazzale Michelangelo with the Chianti hills fading in the distance.
