You arrive on foot, along a cobbled path that winds through vineyards and old stone houses above Positano, until she appears: the Basilica of Sant’Eustachio, a real eleventh-century church perched on the clifftop above Vettica Maggiore, in the municipality of Praiano on the Amalfi Coast. A thousand years of history clinging to the rock, the sea opening far below, the sky stretching endlessly above. The celebrant speaks the words.
