The Experience
Sky and Lake is built around the one angle on Lake Como that almost no one reaches. The morning begins on the water with a private boat ceremony — three rituals, artisan florals, the Lario as backdrop. The villa photoshoot fills the late morning. After lunch at a lakeside restaurant, the seaplane takes off from the lake surface itself, with the Como water still visible below the floats as the altitude builds. Villa del Balbianello appears first on its promontory, then Bellagio at the fork of the two arms, then Varenna, then the full Alpine frame of the Rhaetian mountains visible from an angle unavailable from any boat or road. A spa treatment and sunset cruise close the day at lake level.
