Malcesine sits at the northern end of Lake Garda where Monte Baldo rises directly above the town and the Castello Scaligero — built by the Scaligeri of Verona in the 14th century — has controlled the lake’s northern passage for centuries. The Terrazza Rivellino offers one of the most open lake views in northern Italy: water and Alps visible without obstruction. Your ceremony is performed here with two rituals, the red ribbon and the Lake Garda water blessing, with the castello walls and the lake horizon as your setting. Photography continues through the castle and the medieval borgo before an aperitivo at the harbour. The sunset cruise closes the day as the Monte Baldo turns amber and the water reflects the evening light.
