The Experience
Lake Como is longer and deeper than most expect. Its two arms extend north from Bellagio into the Alps, and the water — dark, cold and extraordinarily clear — gives the lake a quality unlike the shallower lakes to the east and west. Your private boat moves across the Lario with Villa del Balbianello and Villa Carlotta visible on the opposite shore, the headlands of Varenna and Bellagio in the distance and the Rhaetian Alps reflected in the water behind you. The ceremony takes place on board with the red ribbon ritual and artisan florals.
