The single fact that reshapes most Sirmione plans arrives early in our first call: the historic centre of the peninsula sits inside a restricted-traffic zone, and vehicle access for suppliers, florists, and guest transfers is granted in defined windows — which is why our floral installations for a c…
The first question our high-profile couples ask about Torri del Benaco is never about the castle. It is this: who will be watching? The answer is what draws them to this stretch of the Verona shore in the first place — a village where the ceremony site sits behind a fourteenth-century gate, where th…
The first written question most couples send us about Lake Garda is not about roses. It is this: will our flowers survive the afternoon? A fair question. Between late June and mid-August, the northern basin heats through the middle of the day and then, almost punctually, the Ora rises from the south…
On Lake Garda the wind keeps a schedule, and it decides your candles before any designer does. A lake garda candlelit reception is an evening reception — normally an aperitivo from around 7pm followed by a seated dinner lit almost entirely by flame — planned around the lake’s two daily winds, the vi…
According to historical accounts, in 1439 the Republic of Venice dragged a fleet of galleys overland from the Adige valley and launched it at Torbole, on Garda’s northern tip, to break a Milanese blockade. Whatever the precise details of that episode, the lake still rewards anyone who arrives by wat…
Most couples arrive at this decision with a photograph already in mind: the Scaliger fortress at Sirmione, water on three sides, late sun on the crenellations. The image is real. What is rarely explained is that the fortress terrace sits at the end of a pedestrian-only peninsula, that the walking su…
The first question couples ask us is almost never about flowers. It is this: if four of the five villages have no drivable access, how do two people actually get married there? The answer is architectural and administrative at once. The five villages fall under only three municipalities — Monterosso…
The first question almost every couple asks us about Monterosso is the same one, and it is refreshingly unromantic: can our suppliers actually drive in? Yes. Monterosso al Mare is the one Cinque Terre village a florist’s van, a catering truck and a guest coach can physically reach by road, and that…
The first question almost every couple asks me is the same one: can we photograph in all five villages on the wedding day? The honest answer, after thirty years of building portrait routes along this coast, is no — and the couples who accept that early end up with a far better gallery. The five vill…
A cinque terre wedding boat is a privately chartered vessel used for a symbolic ceremony at sea, guest transfers between Monterosso, Vernazza, Manarola, Riomaggiore, Portovenere and La Spezia, or a portrait cruise along the coast. For international couples, a privately managed vessel can offer a mor…
